We meet you where you are. Then we get you to the other side.
Construction ERP consulting for contractors who should know a job is making money while the crew is still on site, not a month after it closes.
Which of these have you said this month?
Pick the one that sounds like you.
We find out a job lost money after it closes.
Job cost should show up while the crew is still on site. That’s usually the sign you’ve outgrown QuickBooks.
Outgrowing QuickBooks →Only one person really knows how our system works.
When the system lives in one person’s head, the business is one resignation away from trouble.
Legacy construction ERP →Microsoft says our Dynamics SL support is ending.
You have time to plan this well. Here’s what end of support really means, and your options.
Dynamics SL & GP end of life →We went live, and nobody trusts the numbers.
A stalled implementation can be recovered. It starts with an honest diagnosis, not more configuration.
Project recovery →We’re on Acumatica and still export everything to Excel.
If everything ends up in Excel, the system isn’t set up for how you work. That’s fixable.
Already on Acumatica →Our AIA pay apps get rebuilt in Excel every month.
AIA billing should come straight from the schedule of values, not a spreadsheet.
Construction ERP →The field and the office never have the same numbers.
One record from the crew to the controller, so everyone sees the same number.
Field and workflow tools →We’re starting something new and want it right from day one.
Starting fresh is the easiest time to get the foundation right.
New company or division →Five questions. Asked in the same order by every client for 25 years.
- 1Current problem
“Can we keep going like this?”
A better way. We look at how you run today and show you a better way, including when waiting is the right call.
- 2What brought you here
“Where do I even start?”
How we’re different. Start from your situation, not a software demo. A senior practitioner lays out a process tailored to you.
- 3The right decision
“Right technology?
Right partner?
What will it cost?”The right team. One account team with industry knowledge and deep technical expertise, working alongside your team.
- 4A manageable transition
“Will this disrupt the business?”
A clear roadmap. We simplify the change, manage the risk and lead the transition, with the same senior people start to finish.
- 5Grow and change
“Will it still fit when
we’re twice the size?”Built to grow. We make you self-sufficient, then stay on for support that is billed fairly and resolved completely.
What the other side looks like.
Not a go-live date. A business that runs differently. We already understand the problem, and we have the formula to get you there.
- ×Job cost shows up after the job closes
- ×The field and the office argue over numbers
- ×Every new job means another admin hire
- ×Only one person knows how the system works

The same senior people,
start to finish.
One account team works with you from the first conversation through support. The people who scope your project run it, and they’re still there after go-live. Dominate Solutions was founded in 2017 by Rob Griffin after 25 years of watching ERP projects fail on delivery, not software.
Construction ERP questions, answered straight
The questions contractors ask us most, with plain answers.
Ask us something else →What does a construction ERP consultant do?
+
A construction ERP consultant helps a contractor choose the right system, configure it around how jobs, cost codes, billing and payroll actually work, migrate data from the old system, train the team and support it after go-live. Dominate Solutions does all of it with one account team.
Is Acumatica good for construction companies?
+
Yes, for most mid-market contractors. Acumatica Construction Edition handles job cost, committed cost, AIA G702/G703 billing, retainage, certified payroll and cost-to-complete natively, and licenses by resources instead of per user, so field staff can be in the system.
When should a contractor move off QuickBooks?
+
When QuickBooks can no longer answer job-level questions while the job is running. The signs are AIA pay apps built in Excel, retainage in a side spreadsheet, payroll re-keyed from timecards, and a close that takes weeks.
How much does an ERP implementation cost?
+
Cost depends on scope, data migration, integrations, customization, licensing and your team’s time. Dominate Solutions implements on a fixed fee after discovery, with data migration as the one exception because its effort depends on your data.
Should we choose Acumatica or Odoo?
+
Acumatica if you bill AIA progress applications, hold retainage or run certified payroll. Odoo if you are an operations-driven company in field service, distribution or light manufacturing that wants a modular system to own and extend.
Where is Dominate Solutions located?
+
Dominate Solutions is based in Plano, Texas, serves Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, and delivers implementations nationwide.
